Are you ready for a funny joke? pls let me know if it trips your trigger! LOL?

THE COWBOY AND THE *******.

An old cowboy sat down at the Star bucks and ordered a cup of coffee.
As he sat sipping his coffee, a young woman sat down next to him.
She turned to the cowboy and asked, “Are you a real cowboy?”
He replied, “Well, I’ve spent my whole life breaking colts, working cows,
going to rodeos, fixing fences, pulling calves, bailing hay, doctoring
calves, cleaning my barn, fixing flats, working on tractors, and feeding
my dogs, so I guess I am a cowboy.”

She said, “I’m a *******. I spend my whole day thinking about women. As
soon as I get up in the morning, I think about women. When I shower, I
think about women. When I watch TV, I think about women. I even think
about women when I eat. It seems that everything makes me think of
women.”

The two sat sipping in silence.
A little while later, a man sat down on the other side of the old cowboy
and asked, “Are you a real cowboy?!”
He replied, “I always thought I was, but I just found out that I’m a
lesbian.”

Should I tell him I was offended? Part II?

(I had posted the following, but I think I left out an important detail. He is also my boss. Does this make it better or worse?)

I was talking to a friend who in the same breath as telling me that he was paying off his (very nice) house (among other purchases), told me that I should consider moving into a smaller place (I rent a 2 bedroom) as it is more than I can afford/need. (I can afford it, btw, within a strict budget.) I just found that so hurtful!!

How much do I need to pay to get my house wired for cable, internet, and phone?

I’m planning to build a house, but I’m not sure how much it will cost to wire a house for about 10 outlets with cable, internet, and phone capabilities. Does anyone know? I appreciate any feedback.

Cost of Living in Ontario, Canada. Please Help Me Calculate?

Hello, my husband and I are thinking of moving to Barrie in Ontario at the end of the year, but we need some help calculating our living expenses to see if we would be able to survive with modest incomes. For example, my husband is a computer technician (born in Canada) and will be A+ certified once we move there. I am a Veterinary Assistant (From the UK, With no formal training) but I will be happy to work for Pet Smart to begin with. Let’s just assume my husband is earning $12 per hour (just a guess) and I am earning $9 per hour (minimum hourly pay?) With both of our incomes combined, we will be bringing in $3360 per month. Can someone please do the calculations by deducting the taxes so we know what to expect? And please fill in the blanks for the following expenses (for 2 people) and let me know if I have missed something. This is just to get a realistic idea of the living expenses.

1: Rent, for a small 2 or 3 bedroom house in Barrie. $
2. Hydro (per month) $
Continued below.
3. Electricity $

4. 2 mobile phone lines, and one house line. $

5. Internet $

6. Water $

7. Groceries $

8. Gas (for one car) $

9. Car Insurance $

10. Car Loan (for a modest car) $

Please give me realistic figures to work with. Thanks in advance!

Housewives– What are some good ways to save money around the house?

I’m a housewife and college student. I can’t work because I take too many classes and I need A’s to get scholarships and FAFSA so I don’t have to take out loans that I won’t be able to pay for later. I want to do something to take some of the financial burden off my husband. What can I do to save money around the house?

-We don’t use credit cards. The min. payment is $75/month and we’ve been paying $200- $300 to pay them off.

-We rent a 2 bdr apt that’s $580/month (which includes water, sewage, trash, cable, and internet).

-Our cars were both paid for in cash years ago. No payments.

-We spend about $50-60/week in groceries/necessities

How can I save some money? What are some ways to cut down our electricity bill? Grocery bill? And gas costs?

(No kids. Just us two.)

Move or stay put. please help me decide?

right now i rent a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo for $1350 + utilities. the landlord has offered me this discount to stick around on a month-to-month basis. she intends to sell the unit so could just ask me to pick up and go in a month’s notice. this type of unit would normally rent for close to $2k a month or more.

advantages of staying put is not having to move which is pretty big. i also have a garage to myself and an in-unit washer/dryer and walk-in closet. the bad things: it’s not the best location, there have been some car vandalisms and gunshots heard. stray cats all over the place that get their paw prints all over the cars that are parked outside. plus again, the landlord could just ask me to up and leave anytime since it’s month-to-month. the other thing is my girlfriend doesn’t like it here and rarely visits me coz she doesn’t feel safe. i always have to go to her.

i found a 1 bedroom 1 bath apartment for $1200 a month + utilities. good things: much better location near a major shopping center and lower rent. the area seems to be better kept and safer. it’d be on at least a 6 month lease. and my girlfriend already says she likes it and will spend more time at my place versus hers. bad things: no garage and no washer/dryer inside. and having to move which i ****. only $150 less than i’m paying now.

Legal Question about the office that I rent.can you help?

I rent a small 275 SQ FT office here in Iowa. (Inside of a large building with several offices) I did’nt realize until I signed the lease and moved all my crap in, that I have absolutly NO CONTROL over the temperature in my office! Currently It’s 89 outside and seriously feels 110 inside. The window is shaped in such a way that I cannot put an Air Conditioner in it. The Electric is paid by the property owners so they probably turn the air off or way down on the weekends. It just so happens that I do all my office work on the weekends while sweating my balls off. I think it’s a trick to get me to buy more Ice cream from Baskin Robins who just happens to be below me with 31 reasons to turn the air off! But seriously, is there anything I can do? I just signed a three year lease on this joint!

Renting for week in England, best places?

For a business meeting, I have to go with my father for a week to England, where are the best places to rent, for a fairly decent price? Keep in mind, only for a week, so basically a vacation home, or flat, whatever.

Where are the best places with some touristy sites, and have not much crime, for a good price?
