Who is responsible for stolen property in a condo?

I live in a condo that I rent from my sister in law. Late last May I bought my son a new bike for his birthday because in the condo’s previous monthly newsletter they wrote that they added another bike storage room. (Otherwise we had no place to put it and didn’t want it to be stolen…ironic) This room needed a key to gain entry - same key as for main door, so we felt safe, plus we put a bike lock on it and chained it to the bike rack in the room. Well, he rode it about three or four times and then we go to get it out in July and the chain and lock are there, but no bike. We put up flyers which someone took down and we contacted to management company but they did nothing. We are now moving into our own house and are going to buy hime a new bike, but shouldn’t they be responsible to replace it?
I do not have renter’s insurance (nothing in here really worth it), the bike wasn’t worth enough to file a claim with my sister-in-laws insurance and I don’t think my son, who just turned five at the time, rode the elevator four floors, unlocked the door with my keys, took his bike out for a joy ride and came back in the house with out me noticing. I just feel like they misrepresented to security of the room and should pay the money as well as warn others their property isn’t safe either. I mean who steals a bike meant for a 4-8 year old.

Does Countrywide bear some responsibility to the housing market crash?

Scrupulous lending practices, Pushing a variable home loan rather than a fixed loan, ect. What should lending companies have to do now to fix the problem or help the economy?

I picked up Pubic lice from accommodation where the sheets had not been washed properly. I have really sensitive skin & want to know if there are any good pubic lice natural remedies to get rid of crabs? I have heard that you can get ones that also calm the itching? Any ideas?

Rental Property Tax Question?

I’m using TurboTax to file my taxes. After, I entered my Income, I had to pay 2000 tax to IRS. I thought my tax will be reduced after I enter loss from my rental property (Rental Income - Mortgage Interest + Depreciation + Repairs, etc). But, to my surprise it increased my tax due to 2600 although I had 5300 in rental property loss. Why?

Does the tax deduction depend on AGI? I’m married filing jointly with AGI of approx $130K.

Letting wine or champagne get warm or shook up?

I have to transport wine or champagne (haven’t decided which) this weekend. Its about a 2 hour drive. I am afraid that it will get warm before I can put it in the refrigerator when we get there, is this going to be a problem? Also I plan on packing it tightly but what if it gets shaken up?

In the virtual world Second Life, how does one rent land?

I have a small lot of property that I do not have too much use for right now. Since it’s not costing me anything to hold onto it for now, I thought that I would rent it to someone for some extra Lindens. I have a pretty good idea about how to go about doing this, but I would like to double-check with others beforehand. Thanks in advance.
