Should i manage my rental properties or should i get a managenent company to do it?

Will cleaning the air vents help improve heating and air circulation? Right now, the air does not go upstairs.

I recently bought my first home. It is a two story townhouse. I have never lived in a two-story home before and am a first time homeowner. The problem is that the heating and air conditiong work fine downstairs, but very little of it gets upstairs. The result is comfortable downstairs, very hot upstairs. I tried closing the vents downstairs to force the air up, but it really doesn’t help that much at all. I have started sleeping on the living room sofa because it is so hot upstairs and I honestly can’t afford to replace the furnace/cooling system. I wonder if cleaning the air ducts/vents will help improve the air circulation of heating and cooling? I asked the person who cleans my furnace every year and he said no.

What liability should I consider when purchasing Condo Insurance?

When purchasing a Condo Insurance, how far should I go with liability protection? Can HOA or my neighbors as individuals sue me if it was my barbeque grill (lit cigarette, etc.)?

I know there used to be overnight accommodation and braai facilities. Apparently they closed it to the public a while ago. Anyone know if it’s opened again?

Like the ones they use in school that you put an image on and it shows it on the wall. NOT A MOVIE PROJECTOR. You think a library might have one??
I want to paint a mural on my sons wall. I have found murals you can buy online and the one I like is 700 dollers. I printed in on a transparancy and tried to use a a lamp but that doesn’t work..

I am house hunting in Denver…I have discovered that I can get way more house for the money closer to the city. And I’m not talking square-footage. I mean, mainly what is worth more to me is the charm and character of the old houses in Highlands, Wash park, Bonnie Brae, or Edgewater, and the proximity to restaurants, shopping, parks, museums, work, etc. I work in LoDo and would rather not spend the gas $$ commuting from the ‘burbs. If I could spen $800 in rent on a tiny-ass cookie-cutter apt in the ‘burbs, or $800 on a tiny *** apt in the city that actually has personality and I don’t have to drive 20 miles to everything, I’d be so much happier. Prob is that I have 2 little kids- kindergarten and 3 yrs and my mom is freaked that they won’t be in a safe neighborhood. I’m very accustomed to living in the city- Capitol Hill in Denver and South Chicago- so I feel totally safe and I know my kids will be very well adjusted growing up with a more diverse community. Any opinions?
Also, I have tried to reason w/ her that no neighborhood is 100% safe. I grew up in th emost whitebread suburban ‘hood ever and right across the street we had a drug bust, the guy 1 block over killed his wife…
