Need to find a few descent sites that provides rental listings for the San Joaquin County?

All of the sites that I have reviewed does not provide a lot of rentals. I would like to just go to a site that will basically give me all of the listings in San Joaquin county. I’m more interested in renting a house instead of an apartment but anything is good for now.

Family/less city neighborhoods?

My family is relocating to Chicago next year. My husband will be working at O’hare airport and we **** commuting more than 30 minutes. We also **** traffic and big city life. Love to visit, would rather live in a quiet suburb. We are more, “country” people. Definition: we like to have a grocery store within 5 miles but would rather not have to worry about getting robbed.
We also need a good school. Any suggestions? Our budget is more $800 to $1000 in rent and we would rather not rent an apartment.

Is there an advantage to getting a 12 month lease when you could get a 6 month one?

Does it cost less or something?
It just seems silly, why offer a 12 month lease when you could just do 6. Or is it just a matter of re-doing paperwork?
My fiancee and I are considering getting an apartment and I wanted to see if there was a difference in payment. We plan to stay there about 3 years.

help looking for a 2 level home to rent?

I am looking for a 2 level home to rent. wetherit be a ownhouse a duplex 1/2 a duplex or even an apartment thats two levels looking in the boston metrowest area needs to be 3 bedrooms with an extra room for an ofice or a bedroom if utilities are included then 1300 is my highest if not 1100 is my highest anyone know where to look i tried criagslist but no luck, help!

Does my landlord have a responsibility to a bad smell?

I just moved in to an apartment and there is a terrible smell from the cleaning crew that was here to prepare the place for my move in. It is in a carpet, and I think it is from their not washing it correctly. Does the landlord have any responsibility to this, or do I have any rights as far as being able to move out with no penalty because of it. I’ve been in the apartment for 3 days now.

BAD CREDIT, want home.rent raises again, car dies.what to do?

Id like to start by saying i took a chance in getting out of a dead end job and got a loan to go to school out of area…found a good job in a small town that i have now been working about 2 yrs… but now is about to end… my boss is becoming really two faced and is seemingly trying to make me quit..i accumulated some bad credit along the way within these 2 years.. i have lived in an apartment these 2 yrs and each year the rent has increased very noticably… i also have a big dog that i pay alot extra… i want to move and buy a cheap home or rent to own a home with more space and a yard… i will also have to get a new job … on top of that my car died and is not repairable… im not sure what to do??? please help and give me some ideas or personal experiences to reassure me …no marketing yourself please… i appreciate your help!

since the other person won’t be here for any of the apartment searching stuff, when i go looking at apartments, do i tell them there’s two people? one of whom is not living in this state yet? do i just apply for them myself?
