I want to buy a apartment and rent it to other students. How do i start?

I don’t have money at all, i work part-time ( 20 hrs/week) on campus and observing people and the world around me, i realized that you don’t have to be 27 ou 30 to try to be rich! I would like to start a little something while i’m young. I’m a student in mechanical engineering by the way.My project was to buy a apartment close to my college( In Utah) and rent it I’m not saying i will do that 2morrow, but i’m thinking bout it, and hopefully, 2 or 3 yrs from now, i could do that. Is that a good project? Where do i go? Where do i start? Are apartments really expensive? Did you, or somebody you know, have this kind of business? In brief, as you can see, i don’t really knnow something about that, but you know, it would be good for me to know….

since the other person won’t be here for any of the apartment searching stuff, when i go looking at apartments, do i tell them there’s two people? one of whom is not living in this state yet? do i just apply for them myself?

Are there short-time apartments/ condominiums in Cebu?

Rent an Apartment in FL for the summer?

Hi, I’m interested in living in Naples, Fl. during the summer. I don’t know much about apartments, but it is possible at most places to rent them out just for summer use, say 3 months? If not are there speciality apartments/homes for this kind of use? Thanks.

Can I view New York City apartment rentals at night?

I am moving to the city from the UK, and want to bring a friend along with me who lives in NYC and knows the rental market. She works, so can only come with me from 5.30pm, so I need to start viewing then.
2 CommentsIn the UK, evening viewings are quite the norm, as people work during the day, and it’s a huge pain to get time off to go looking at apartments. But when I asked my relocation agent to schedule an evening viewing slot, she said that that likely won’t work.
Is this really the case, or are they just trying it on with someone they think is fresh off the boat?

Housing: Yahoo USE to have a good housing search, What’s good now?

We got laid off. Now have to get new jobs and new housing. To pick a job, we want to correlate it to good housing. What is a good site these days (compared to what Yahoo USE to do)? Looking for houses.. not apartments or the like. Having a hard time.
This is a broad question. I don’t know where we’d want to live in the FIRST place. I want what Yahoo use to provide. You plug in an area, and it tells you what could be found IN that area. Income vs. morgage that = something we could swing. Yahoo USE to provide that. Now I’m asking if someone knows of ANOTHER such site that would give us that information.

I live in a expensive area that my boss originally helped me rent while I work at home. My aprtment is very old and run down now and my landlord won’t let me switch apartments either.
