House for rent section 8?

I’m looking for a house (duplex, condo, or town home) to rent in my city. What can I do besides representing myself properly to encourage home owners to rent to me. Also where can I find free listings? Many I have seen required a fee. (Looking in San Gabriel Valley/ Los Angeles County)

Looking for 2-3 bedroom, 1.5-2 baths easy to get around in a wheelchair that would consider allowing pets. My price range is $400 to $700 a month preferably with at least some utilities included.

websites and local papers, each one listed as different prices, do they honor lowest price i find?
for ex i found house at 695 on one site, 650 on another site, and just now i found same house at 525, same realtor.

yes i have checked the paper but i was hoping that some one could help, the house im in is up for sale!!! hoping for a 3br 2ba hope to stay in the e. stroudsburg school district, so my daughter could graduate here. if u could help please e-mail me!!!

Section 8 contract? inspection? confused?

ok so my family and i found a house for rent and all is perfect but.. The owner wants us to pay 1,400 deposit and 1,315 for the month of april and we’re not living there yet?! Today is april 10th and section 8 inspection is coming on april 14 . But what i’m not sure of is if section 8 is gonna pay theyre part of rent for the month of may. I dont want to pay for both months april and may. How would that work i have noo clue .is the contract done after inspection is over? We just turned in the paperwork to section 8 on tuesday april 7 and already april 14 they are coming to inspect .thats quick . So if i do pay rent for this month april. What about may??
