Stressed about moving out on my own?

I am moving out of my parents to another city. My lease starts in august and I am sooo stressed out. I am a recent college graduate (art education k-12) and am having real trouble finding a teaching job…Michigan is laying teachers left and right. I will have to pay rent-$240, health insurance out of my pocket-$150, and a $250 dollar student loan payment every month and I’m freaking out because I have no secure job. Subbing is only 75 dollars a day and is not secure. Every week you work different days and I don’t know how I’m every going to make enough money.
I need to prove to my mom that I can make it on my own. I’m 24 and I just can’t stand living with her anymore…we get along worse and worse the longer I live with her.
Can someone please calm me down? This is all I think about through the whole day and while laying in bed at night. :(

Is it better to rent an apartment or buy a home if you are going to relocate after one year?

home cost is $280,00, monthly expenses- utilities-$220., maint-$100., property tax-$380., home insurance-$50. 30-year mort-8% interest rate, 20% downpayment and closing costs equal to $1,000. plus 3 points. Rent would be $1400./month plus $220. utilities and renters insurance $25/month. price of housing expected to rise 3%, util, taxes, ect raise 3% anually.

Is GST usually included in a commercial rent?

If a commercial lease states: ‘All taxes and insurance on the building are the sole responsibility of the Landlord’
does that mean that the Landlord must pay GST on the rent? That is, the rent amount stated in the lease includes GST, which the Landlord must remit to CRA?

Car Accident Settlement?

What is considered a fair settlement for pain and suffering. Here are the details:

-Other Driver’s Fault
-My vehicle took 33 days to repair
-Other Driver’s Ins paid for rental car, car repairs, lost income and medical bills.
-I missed 3 days of work
-Diagnosed with whiplash, cervical sprain and neck sprain.
-Went to PT for 5 weeks.

What would you consider a fair settlement WITHOUT the help of an attorney?

Thanks

PS- if you are an ins agent or work in claims, please list as your source.

Additional Details- I live in Kentucky, and the other driver’s insurance is State Farm.

I live in NJ and rent a room in a 5 bedroom house. Is my landlord REQUIRED to have renters insurance?

I share the house with 3 other people. We don’t currently have renters insurance. So what happens if someone gets hurt?

What is the best way to get rental insurance on a home in Florida? I am having a hard time finding a carrier.

My Father gifted me his home and the current carrier will not insure it for rental purposes. I am not a home owner except for the home I want to rent out.

Hey what’s the benefits of renting out an apt./house? I see it as an investment opportunity but others c diff?

Okay so I’m like let me get all of my friends to put in on owning a condo room, studio, or house and then rent it out b/c then whoever lives there will be helping to pay it off and then eventually after it’s paid off we can sell it for profitt or keep it and each take turns vacationing there. But I’m hearing people say you don’t get much off of rent b/c you gotta pay insurance and if something breaks like the toilet then you gotta get a plumber. But I”m seeing all on tv people doing this. Even rich people are renting places to people, unless they own the whole complex and I just saw the one room (it was a tv show lawsuit case).

anyway could i get some proper feedback (I know the economy’s bad but set that aside what are the benefits/cons of owning a place and then renting it out) oh the place is booming so finding tenants aren’t a problem
