Is it legal for them to do this?

Okay here’s my question, I was going to rent a house from Remax ( I paid the dep. & signed the lease) then the owner decides that he wants to sell it & not rent it. Can they legally do that when I have already signed the lease? I know if I had signed the lease & paid the dep. & then I would back out I would be in trouble. What can I do?

I’m from Kazakhstan, now i’m in Maine in college, but my parents are going to come to San Francisco this summer and we wanted to rent a house there for a couple of months. If any one knows where i could find cheap house for rent please let me know.

How do I get the house I rent to stay warm?

I rent a house so there isn’t much I can do. It has hard wood floors, an is an OLD house, so I guess that there isn’t very much insulation in it. Can some one please tell me the cheapest way to get my house to stay warm. An don’t say buy your own home cuz where I live the houses are to high at the moment to buy.

I am in the military and I am on orders to report to Fort Stewart, Ga in August. I am looking for rental property between Fort Stewart and Savannah, Ga. My wife has a job set up in Savannah and we are looking to rent a house somewhere in between. We are looking for at least 3 bedrooms and have a medium sized dog and a cat. If anyone could point me in the right direction, I would greatly apreciate it.

I was wondering if it is legal to rent a house out when you are still paying the mortgage. Does it depend on your mortgage company or the agreement? Does it depend on where you live? I live in Texas if that matters.

How can I find a weekly house rental? I want to rent a house in Colts Neck, NJ or nearby from Oct 3-17, 2008?

Does anyone know where I could search for this type of house rental? In my search I can only find summer beach houses and they are too expensive even in the off season and not close enough to colts neck. The more bedrooms in the house the better and the closest to Colts Neck.
