Is it better to rent a house or buy a house right now?
October 11th, 2009 Posted by: admin
I am in my early twenties and looking to move out, while buying a home seems the way to go these days I am still hesitant seeing as I know the market is still going to fall. I am looking into rent-to own options. If anyone has had any experiences with this good/bad..any advice would help!

Is it legal for them to do this?
October 8th, 2009 Posted by: admin
Okay here’s my question, I was going to rent a house from Remax ( I paid the dep. & signed the lease) then the owner decides that he wants to sell it & not rent it. Can they legally do that when I have already signed the lease? I know if I had signed the lease & paid the dep. & then I would back out I would be in trouble. What can I do?

Is it as difficult to qualify for renting a house as buying?
September 27th, 2009 Posted by: admin
We’re selling our house due to our business failing. I have a job making a small salary and my hubby is still looking. We’re basically living on savings right now. We’re planning on getting into a rent house until we can save up some money for a house. I’ve never rented a house before; is it generally difficult to qualify? Also, do most people require a 6 month comittment? I live in the DFW area.

that would mean appliances are my problem?
and for access it says landlord or anyone authorized by landlord may enter the property peacefully without attempting to contact tenant to review properties condition..emergency repairs..leave written notices…
does that mean they can come and go whenever without letting me know?
does it sound like a good deal?

How do I DO GARDENING FOR LANDLORD in order to REDUCE RENT?
September 25th, 2009 Posted by: admin
I am going to rent one room in a single house, when I negotiate the rent with my landlord, he asks me to help do the gardening of the house in order to compensate the rent…Now he asks me to do 10 hr/month so I will get $100 off…Is the 10hr/month too much for only $100 off (now my rent is $450)???

I am 17 and my mom’s letting me go on a road trip with a bunch of friends, but I’m too young to rent a hotel/condo. Can I borrow your house (will be clean and unharmed)?

I rent a house that is damp in one room.Lived in property for 30 months.Landlord says not his responsibility?
September 21st, 2009 Posted by: admin
My landlord had actually started inviting people to try and see how the problem could be sorted. After about three visits from ‘experts’ he said the problem of condensation/damp is my responsibility and he can not solve it. I have already seved a notice to leave on the 1st of feb. What should i do?
