I am going to rent one room in a single house, when I negotiate the rent with my landlord, he asks me to help do the gardening of the house in order to compensate the rent…Now he asks me to do 10 hr/month so I will get $100 off…Is the 10hr/month too much for only $100 off (now my rent is $450)???

Does homeowners ins. cover someone who rents a room in the same house I live in?

I have been asked to “rent” a room to a elderly person. If I were to agree to allow this person to stay in my home, would homeowners insurance cover any injuries he may incur or damage he may cause?

Will you get income tax refund if you RENT/SHARE ROOM Mobile Home?

My family plans to share two rooms in one mobile home. Some of my mom’s friends told her that we can’t have (income) tax refund latter on if we live in Mobile home. (doesn’t matter you rent or own).
I’m kinda confused, ’cause we just rent 2 rooms, not even the whole house.
Is it true that we can’t have refund?
If it is true, WHY?
If it is not, does it the same for renting house/apartment/etc. (that it doesn’t bother ours income tax refund at all)?

Was going to rent a room up southend, but as being poor, was just gunna get a 2 bed suite, and just sleep with eachova n stuff… gunna b bout 16 of us, but well probaley rent 2 rooms..
