I only need the room for 2-3 hours for a party. This is just a plain, old room…nothing inside of it. The room should be large enough to hold maybe 60 people.

Splitting Rent and Parking?

I share a three bedroom condo with two female friends and my boyfriend. The rent for the condo is $900 a month. The rooms are all different sizes– 157 sq. feet, 135.3 sq. feet, and 75.9 sq feet. My boyfriend and I share the smallest room. Right now rent is split so the two female roommates with the larger rooms pay $300 each and my boyfriend and I pay $150 each. Our utilities are split evenly among all four. Does this seem fair? My roommates have recently been complaining that my boyfriend and I aren’t paying enough. Because of this they think my boyfriend and I should forfeit our parking spaces because we “don’t pay as much” as they do. Any advice on how to solve this problem?

Two people renting two bedroom apartment how to split rent?

When two people rent a two bedroom apartment and one person gets the master bedroom/bathroom while the other person gets the other room/bedroom, how should the rent be split? Would a ratio of 60%-40% be fair?
