how can i heat up an area of my room?

i rent a room with one of my grandmothers friends.
she turns the heat to about 52 degrees at night and our house has bad isolation.
how could i heat up my room or at least the area around my bed?
i meant insulation, damn spell checker.

What would be a reasonable rate to charge someone who would rent a bedroom in a 2 bedroom 1 bath apt (800sqft)

I would rent one room –the rent is about 750$ a month. It’s a 800 square ft apt, and she would get the other bedroom. About 200$? I would take care of cable, and utilities..

If anyone knows of something, or can tell me a website or some place to look when I arrive, I’d really appreciate it! I would like something fairly central, not too expensive, and quiet and secure. How do I keep roommates of my room?

I rent a room in a home. My roommates have no respect for me. They are in my room and bathroom all of the time. I placed a locking knob on my door and they have been trying to pick it. (I don’t know if they have succeeded.) They tried to blame the behavior on their 3 year old son. But I know that he could care less about perfume and hair products that have been tampered with. Any suggestions on keeping them out? Any suggestions on how I can prove that they were in my space?

I have a project for school, and have been given $20,000 to build a studio. I have to buy a proof room and rent for that is $300 a mo. So in a yr. that leaves me with $16,400 to build a studio. I need mics., speakers, keyboard, cables, interfaces, ect. Things that a studio would need. Can the people that know what im talking about help me plz or give me a since of direction to go with this………a web site or something.
